CrimeGuesser is a free collection of daily crime-themed games built on public data. No account or download is required.
Each game mode picks its board from the UTC calendar date. That seed controls which FBI duels, mugshot tiles, city matchups, or country stats appear that day.
Progress and scores can be stored in your browser so you can resume on the same device. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to play.

Game content is compiled from third-party public datasets and official publications. We add daily selection logic, presentation, and game rules on top of the raw data. Sources include the FBI Wanted API, an Illinois booking-photo dataset (CC0), the World Crime Index (CC0), and the Global Organized Crime Index, among others.

CrimeGuesser is for entertainment and daily challenge. It is not law enforcement, a tip line, legal advice, a background-check service, or a real investigation tool. Rankings and stats are simplified for gameplay and should not be used for travel, housing, policy, or research decisions.
