This policy explains what information CrimeGuesser processes when you use the site. We aim to collect as little as possible.
We do not require registration and do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to play.
Data is used to run the games, remember your local progress, keep the site secure, and fund the site through advertising. Where EU law applies, processing is based on legitimate interest in operating the service and, where applicable, your consent for optional features such as personalized advertising cookies.
We use Google AdSense to show ads on CrimeGuesser. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies when you visit or interact with the site.
For more on how Google collects and uses data from partner sites, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy. You can also opt out of some third-party interest-based ads at aboutads.info.
Games display material from public sources (e.g. FBI Wanted posters, booking photos, crime statistics). Loading images or data may cause your browser to request resources from those origins. Please refer to their privacy policies for details.
Local game data stays on your device until you delete it or until your browser clears site data. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For privacy requests, contact pascal.roessler.dev@gmail.com.
CrimeGuesser is not directed at children under 16. Content deals with crime themes intended for a mature audience.
